XGF-HO2A

Description

2-channel high-speed counter module, open-collector / single-ended input type, accepts 5 V, 12 V or 24 V pulse sources and incremental encoders. Good for short runs and common field sensors.

HO2A is the open-collector variant built for pulse sources and incremental encoders at up to the module’s rated frequency. It supports various input levels, multiple multiplication and counting modes, and 32-bit signed counters. Use HO2A when encoders or photo sensors are local and single-ended input is acceptable.

Pros

Limitations

• Single-ended inputs are less noise tolerant than differential inputs over distance.
• Max counting speed and wiring guidance must be followed exactly to achieve rated performance.
