Description

4-channel current (mA) analog output module (D/A), switchable ranges (0–20 mA / 4–20 mA), used to drive valve positioners, proportional actuators and loop inputs. Industry-standard D/A module for process actuation.

The DC4A supplies four current outputs per module with configurable output range per channel; the manual details maximum load resistances, update/scan timing, and mapping of digital input values to analog output currents. It supports multiple digital input formats and is configured through the platform tools; follow the datasheet for wiring, loop feed, and load resistance limits.

Limitations

• Observe max loop resistance vs supply voltage or the loop won’t reach commanded currents.
