Description
Expansion cable, 0.6 m length; you are looking at a slightly longer bridge when the expansion bay is a little less cooperative. Good for small offsets.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
The E061 is the 0.6-metre expansion cable option for XGT/XGB systems. It provides a modest extra reach compared with the 0.4 m cable and is useful when CPU and expansion base mounting holes are a touch farther apart. Documentation lists this length explicitly and recommends planning total extension distance to avoid signal issues.
Pros
- Slightly more routing flexibility than the 0.4 m cable.
- Same connector and electrical characteristics as other XGC cables.
Limitations
- Not suitable for long runs; longer lengths exist (see E102/E121).
Typical use cases
- Panels where expansion base is offset but still within the same cabinet bay.
