Description

Ten-slot expansion base for XGB family PLCs, ideal when you need larger local I/O or multiple specialty modules without adding a second main base.

The M10A fills the slot gap between standard eight-slot bases and the largest 12-slot variants, giving room for 10 modules. It follows the same mechanical and electrical bus interface as all XGB expansion bases, and supports standard terminal blocks and XGB wiring practices. Use it when expansion needs exceed eight cards but you don’t want a full 12-slot rack.

Pros

Limitations

• Slightly chunkier base; requires planning for terminal blocks/cabling ladders.
• Requires careful slot planning if mixed analog/pulse/comm modules are used.
