Standard (SU) class compact CPU, typically 18 DI + 12 transistor outputs, higher performance than E class with ~15k steps program memory and ~94 ns/step processing.

The DN30SU is the SU (standard) XBC compact CPU that balances capability and cost. Compared with E-class, SU models bring far more program memory, much faster scan, built-in PID, robust HSC (high speed counters) and better expansion headroom. Pick SU when the machine needs real PID/HSC or modest positioning plus compactness.

Pros

• Substantially better performance and memory than E class.
• Built-in PID, HSC and USB/serial programming make commissioning simpler.

Limitations

• Higher price than E class; if you truly just need a handful of IO, it’s overkill.
