DN20E is the larger member of the E-type compact CPUs offering 12 digital inputs and 8 transistor outputs. It keeps the economic footprint: limited program space (≈4 Ksteps) and modest cycle speed but provides enough I/O for many small automation tasks. The E family is intentionally barebones; ideal when budget and enclosure real estate matter more than high throughput or advanced motion features.

Pros

• Best economic balance for small machines that need ~20 local points.
• E family is easy to spec and cheap to replace.

Limitations

• Still E-class limitations: low program memory and slower cycle than U/H units.
