A 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) SP100-series drive for 3Φ 380–480 VAC systems. It offers the same integrated contactor bypass and V/F control as the 240 VAC version, now for 460 VAC supply. This model includes a built-in EMC filter for noise suppression, making it suitable for higher-voltage installations.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
This drive is the 380–480 VAC variant of the SP100 packaged series. It provides 5 HP heavy-duty or 7.5 HP normal-duty output to a 240 VAC motor, with slip-compensated V/F drive and built-in DC reactor. It includes all SP100 features (auto bypass, overload protection, communications) plus an internal EMC filter to meet tighter standards at 460 VAC. Strengths include continuous-operation bypass and built-in protocols, now with added EMC compliance. Trade-offs are similar to the 240 VAC model: it is indoor-only (NEMA 1) with fixed 3Φ input and 12 A output (limiting to ~5.5 kW). Like the 240V version it is rated –10–50 °C (HD) and meets 100 kA SCCR requirements, but it does not support single-phase input or advanced vector control.

- Building automation integration: 480 VAC drives in facilities using BACnet or Metasys for centralized control
- Retrofit of 460 VAC motor controls: Upgrading legacy pump/fan panels to include bypass and communication.
