Description
LS Electric LSLV0002M100 – 1EOFNA Inverter VFD Low Voltage Drive
Micro VFD / Inverter — Single-phase input → Three-phase output — 0.25 HP (≈0.2 kW)
designed to control small three-phase motors. This SKU accepts single-phase 100–120 VAC input and provides three-phase 200–240 VAC variable-frequency output for motors up to ~0.25 HP (0.2 kW). DIN-rail compatible, IP20 enclosure, with built-in C2 EMC filtering and integrated keypad.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
The LSLV0002M100-SEONNA is a tidy, feature-dense micro VFD for OEMs and light-duty installations where space is limited and simple motor control is needed. It’s strong on compactness and essential protection features (motor overload, DC injection braking) and convenient for quick integration (RJ45 interface for Modbus / remote keypad). It is not a rugged outdoor or heavy-industrial drive — it’s IP20 and intended for protected indoor enclosures and small loads. Treat it as an OEM/bench/controlled-environment product, not a substitute for larger LV drives.
Pros
- Very compact, DIN-rail mountable and saves panel space in OEM cabinets.
- Single-phase input variants allow three-phase motor control where three-phase supply isn’t available on site (for properly matched motors).
- Built-in C2 EMC filter reduces EMI concerns for many installations.
- Integrated motor overload protection and DC injection braking included as standard.
- RJ45 connectivity supports Modbus and convenient tools (Smart Copier / Remote Keypad / DriveView) for configuration and diagnostics.
Cons / trade-offs
- IP20 enclosure — requires a protective cabinet in dusty, humid, or outdoor environments.
- Rated for small motors only (0.25 HP for this model); not suitable for heavy duty or continuous high-torque industrial loads.
- No guaranteed Safe Torque Off (STO) listed on basic M100 SKUs — check safety requirements for machinery and choose a compliant option if needed.
Typical use cases
- Small fans, pumps, and geared motors in OEM machines, test rigs, or light process equipment.
- Retrofit projects where only single-phase supply exists but a small three-phase motor must be controlled.
- Compact control panels, lab benches, and machinery doors where space and easy setup matter more than ruggedness.
