Description

DC-input power module for GM6 that supports analog modules: 12/24 VDC input with larger internal outputs (typical: 5 VDC ≈ 3 A plus ±15 V rails for analog use). Use when analog modules are required in a DC-powered rack.

GM6-PDFB is the DC counterpart to PAFB: it accepts 12/24 VDC input and supplies the higher-capacity 5 VDC rail plus the ±15 V analog rails that analog I/O modules need. Use PDFB (or PAFB) when analog modules or thermocouple modules are present because the standard PDFA/PAFA power modules do not supply the necessary analog rails or the needed current.
