Description
Same high density as the N version but with 24 PNP (source) transistor outputs; 36 inputs and 24 sourcing outputs in GM7U form.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
The G7M-DT60U (P) (/DC) is a U-series high-density transistor I/O module that provides 36 DC inputs and 24 PNP (sourcing) transistor outputs for GM7U racks. Choose the (P) variant when your field devices expect sourcing outputs, avoiding polarity adaptations in the field. Like the (N) variant it targets high-cycle duties and requires the same attention to load-supply wiring and total current budget in the OEM manuals.
Pros
- PNP (source) outputs avoid wiring conversion when the field uses sourcing devices.
- High channel density reduces slot/space needs.
- Solid-state reliability for high frequency switching.
Limitations
- Wrong polarity selection (PNP vs NPN) on order causes on-site rework.
- Not for AC mains switching without relays.
Typical use cases
- GM7U systems that standardize on sourcing outputs, machine automation with many sourcing actuators, and large pulse/solenoid banks.
