Description
32 transistor outputs, PNP (source) type, for 12/24 V DC loads; 0.1 A per point; high density, source-type counterpart to TR4A.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
The G6Q-TR4B is the PNP/source version of the 32-point transistor output card. Electrically identical in channel count and per-point rating to TR4A, but wired for high-side sourcing rather than sinking; choose this when your field devices expect source outputs. Same tradeoffs on current and wiring density apply.
Pros
- 32 points for maximum digital output density.
- PNP wiring for compatibility with high-side input systems.
- Photocoupler isolation protects PLC logic from noise.
Limitations
- 1 A per point; limited drive capability.
- Crowded terminals when many cables are present.
Typical use cases
- Large-scale indicator banks, lamp panels, or driving the control inputs of many small devices that expect sourced signals.
