Description
32 transistor outputs, NPN (sink) type, for 12/24 V DC loads; 0.1 A per point. High channel density for many small DC outputs.
The Polar Energy Assessment:
The G6Q-TR4A is the 32-point NPN/sink transistor output module in the G6 family. It trades per-point current for density (0.1 A per point), making it ideal for large banks of indicators, small pilot devices, or signalling to opto-coupled inputs rather than powering heavy loads. Same rack, same isolation approach as other G6Q modules.
Pros
- Very high channel density; 32 outputs in one card.
- NPN/sink wiring is compatible with many PLC ecosystems and sensors.
- Photocoupler isolation for noise immunity.
Limitations
- Only 0.1 A per point; not for driving moderate/heavy loads directly.
- Dense wiring at the terminal block; plan routing carefully.
Typical use cases
- Indicator lamp arrays, status outputs to small interface modules, and large discrete signaling where per-point current is small.
