G4L-EUFB

Description

G4L-EUFB is a fiber-optic Ethernet communication module (100BASE-FX) for LS G4/G4L PLCs. It gives the PLC a fiber link for electrically isolated, long-reach network connections up to typical fiber limits (vendor lists cite up to 1,000 m on multimode fiber for the 100BASE-FX option).

If you want your PLC network to survive lightning hits, noisy EMI environments, or runs that cross large plant yards, the EUFB is the practical choice: it places a 100Base-FX fiber interface in the PLC rack. This is the fiber optic Ethernet option for the G4L family, with the usual industrial protocol stack (IP/TCP/UDP/ARP/ICMP). Because fiber removes ground loops and extends distance, this module is commonly used where reliability and galvanic isolation matter more than minimal cost.
